We are looking for a confident, strategic, and motivated Director of Marketing to guide and challenge our portfolio of diverse clients and our dynamic team of intelligent, analytical, and creative digital marketers. As the Director of Marketing, you will be responsible for formulating comprehensive strategies, overseeing their execution, and ensuring our clients' business objectives and KPIs are met and exceeded. We are looking for candidates with a proven track record in marketing agencies or relevant brands, coupled with extensive leadership experience.

What You’ll Do

You will lead our marketing team and play a pivotal role in shaping our marketing strategies and ensuring our clients achieve their objectives and KPIs. You'll lead our marketing team and work collaboratively across all marketing functions to deliver comprehensive and effective solutions.

This includes our work developing marketing strategies, performance marketing, SEO, social and search advertising, email marketing, website conversion optimization, custom landing pages, and more.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop marketing roadmaps and strategies for a diverse portfolio of clients, leveraging performance marketing, SEO, traditional marketing, CRM, web optimization, and more.
  • Strategize, create, review, and optimize performance marketing campaigns to ensure clients are achieving objectives and KPIs.
  • Develop, oversee, report, and optimize all marketing strategies for clients, covering everything from organic social to search ads, landing pages to automated email flows.
  • Play an active role in Anchour's business development efforts, collaborating with internal teams to develop and pitch proposals, optimize our own marketing initiatives, and help secure new clients.
  • Create effective marketing strategies that align with client goals by collaborating with strategy, design, and operations teams.
  • Oversee all deliverables from a team of digital marketers and present key strategies and results to clients.
  • Manage your time and priorities effectively, work with our project management team to manage your team’s time, and provide accurate time estimates and workflows for new initiatives.

What We’d Like To See

  • 8+ years experience in marketing, leading omnichannel marketing initiatives and a diverse team of specialists.
  • Previous experience working in an agency environment and managing a book of clients is preferred.
  • Strong leadership and teamwork skills, including experience building, managing, and inspiring digital marketers.
  • Expert skills in Google Ads, Facebook Ads, SEM Rush, MOZ, and other relevant marketing tools. Bonus points for knowledge of Asana and Figma.
  • Expert knowledge of full-service marketing tactics, from high-level strategies to tactical implementation.
  • Confidence to independently pull campaign performance details and analytics for digital, web, email, and social, and communicating these details directly with clients.
  • Proven record of managing client expectations, overseeing budget and scope of work, delivering results, and addressing directly the efficacy of the strategy.
  • Entrepreneurial mentality, ability to wear many hats, and comfort multi-tasking with various clients and project deliverables.
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with other departments to achieve overall client and company goals.
  • Ability to problem-solve within designated timelines and scopes to achieve the best result with the available resources.
  • Ability to present confidently to internal teams and clients.
  • A passion for the world of marketing, CPC, CRM, CRO, SEO/SEM, and all the other acronyms.
