Our Digital Marketing Internship is a 10-week program designed to offer individuals interested in marketing, branding, and the digital world an opportunity to establish a career in marketing. We aim to provide individuals with the chance to build a career by actively supporting our digital marketing, development, and content teams with day-to-day projects.

Anchour is looking for an ambitious, aspiring marketer to join the team. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for a broad mix of creative, logistical, and analytical duties within online advertising, SEO, social media, email, integrated campaigns, and various client websites.

You will have the opportunity to work both independently and collaboratively with internal teams, learning new platforms, assisting in content and social media calendar production, analyzing campaign results, aiding in reporting and internal documentation, updating websites, and more.

You’ll find yourself better equipped with the tools you need to join an agency as a digital marketer at the conclusion of the internship.

What You’ll Do

As a Digital Marketing Intern, you will be responsible for working on active work and building client relationships, with the main goal of ensuring that we are delivering on our integrated marketing plans for our clients.

This may include assisting with SEO (search engine optimization), social media calendars, website updates, email marketing, paid advertising, and much more.

This role leads and manages client communications, including strategic conversations, clearly communicating scope and process, receiving, sharing, and responding to client feedback, and addressing client concerns with tact and professionalism. You’ll attend meetings with internal and external audiences and will work closely with our project management and other team members to share project updates with relevant stakeholders, present strategic plans, and facilitate client feedback and approvals to keep projects moving forward. This is a hybrid position, requiring your presence in our Lewiston, Maine, office at least three days per week.

What We’d Like To See

  • Great organization skills and ability to prioritize work effectively.
  • Exceptional grammar, writing, proofreading, and editing skills.
  • Skilled in Google Suite (Google Docs, Google Slides, Google Spreadsheets, etc.)
  • Proactive and resourceful problem-solver that can manage issues autonomously and without disturbance.
  • Interest in emerging digital trends, new platforms and tools, and best practices.
  • Comfort using a variety of digital and social platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, MailChimp, Klaviyo, and WordPress.
  • Trustworthy and respectful to confidential client and company information.
  • Entrepreneurial mentality, comfort wearing many hats, and multi-tasking many daily demands at one time.
  • Experience or interest in SEO (search engine optimization) and paid search marketing.
  • Comfort using digital tools such as Zoom, Asana, and Slack.
  • Google Analytics and Google Ads certifications
